Cocktail Hour was a B24J delivered to the US Army Air Force as B24J-160-CO serial number 44-40428. She was assigned to the 5th Air Force, 43rd Bombardment Group, 64th Bombardment Squadron based within the Okinawa island chain called "le Shima." . Cocktail Hour was a late war B24.
The nose art mesmerized battle weary soldiers...the bright lights, big city, stars, music and of course the girl. The words of the day were; "Hey, it's 5 o'clock somewhere!" No further information is known, but Cocktail Hour was presumably scrapped after the war.
