Bf-109 G-6, White 1, belonged to Erich Hartmann from October 1944, the time after his 307th victory.
Erich Hartmann is the undisputed Ace of Aces. To amass 352 victories is an astonishing achievement.
Toward the end of the war Hartmann was still flying a Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6. Despite the fact that he had already achieved more than 300 victories, no victory bars adorned his tail. The black tulip-nose was the only indication that this was the aircraft of the greatest fighter ace of all time.
